I picked up the Book Drawing for Dummies by Hoddinott Brenda from the library. I'm a big fan of the Dummies series. This book has one of the clearest instructions that produce excellent result. I tried my hands on a few projects...
I remember started drawing as young as I could hold a pencil. I started doodling on the walls and furniture of my house. My dad got me thick books of blank paper for me to draw as much as I want so that i won't doodle everywhere. I am glad to be able to work with kids, teaching them the basic skill and nurturing their creativity towards art.
